Students will learn from age-appropriate characters about ticks and important prevention tips. Objectives: Students should learn how to identify ticks, understand where ticks live (preferred habitat), and what to do if they find a tick.
Students will learn about ticks, tick anatomy, tick bite prevention, as well as understanding common symptoms of Lyme disease. Interactive activities that include word games, drag-and drop, and other fun quizzes will test students’ learnings throughout the activity.
Objectives: Students should learn how to identify various species of ticks, tick anatomy, tick habitats, prevention tips (tick check, dress, etc.), what to do if they find a tick, and understand symptoms of Lyme disease.
This program is designed specifically for the young adults. Students will learn about ticks, tick anatomy, prevention, identifying signs and symptoms of Lyme disease. In addition they will learn about the psychological, social and emotional impact of Lyme disease.
