A Global Fundraiser for Lyme Disease Research. Honoring Ren & empowering Global Lyme Alliance
This October, join us in making a big Wave of Change!
Twice a year, the Wave of Change global online community gathers for a cause that demands attention, and action. The Wave of Change is more than a fundraiser. It’s a movement fueled by empathy, music, resilience, and hope.
This October, we launch our campaign in support of the Global Lyme Alliance (GLA); a big player in the fight against Lyme disease. Our mission? To raise critical funds for scientific research, accelerate treatment breakthroughs, and shine a global spotlight on a disease too often overlooked.

This Time, It's Personal
Ren’s album, Sick Boi, which was released in October 2023, is a raw, unfiltered journey through chronic illness and mental health, a sonic diary of his struggles with Lyme disease. Through haunting lyrics and cathartic melodies, Ren not only gave voice to the invisible, he built a bridge between art and advocacy. Now, he’s bringing that message to the world stage.

Honoring Ren and the album that moved us all: Sick Boi
In March 2025, supporters of Wave Of Change raised $14,000 (€12,000) for medical research for the Pasteur Institute. In May 2025, your support helped us raise nearly $3,000 through a global raffle for GLA. Now, this October, we come back stronger. Inspired by the work and story of Ren, the Welsh artist whose music has become a lifeline for millions.
Ren recently collaborated on September 13th with Global Lyme Alliance on Project Lab Coat, and walked the runway at New York Fashion Week, using fashion as a platform to raise awareness for Lyme disease. We are deeply inspired. Not just by Ren’s music, but by his courage.
And so, in the spirit of solidarity, artistry, and activism, we are dedicating this fundraiser to him, his journey and the anniversary of this album.
This fundraiser is open to anyone wishing to support this cause, whether you are struggling with Lyme disease yourself, know someone who does or because you
understand that more research is vital
The #waveofchange2025 is about harnessing the power of people moving as one. Just as small ripples come together to form a powerful wave, every little bit of change can create a significant impact.
