Toni Blanchard, a member of the Global Lyme Alliance Young Leaders Council, talks with Tony Savino on WGCH radio.

Toni discusses the role of the Young Leaders Council (YLC) as part of GLA and the importance of Lyme disease awareness, particularly among the high school and college-age population, and millennials. As someone who battles persistent Lyme disease symptoms herself, raising awareness is extremely important to Toni.

One immediate initiative she and fellow YLC member Jesse Ruben are embarking on is running the NYC Marathon on November 6 to benefit GLA and raise awareness.
