Global Lyme Alliance (GLA) has awarded grants to three (3) physicians to attend the 2018 ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases) Annual Conference on November 1-4, 2018 in Chicago, as part of the ILADS Educational Foundation (ILADEF) initiative. Each year, GLA provides grant support to physicians and other healthcare professionals to attend the annual ILADS Conference. GLA has funded hundreds of clinicians to attend this major conference to learn about the latest clinical updates to diagnose and treat tick-borne diseases. These clinicians gain important Lyme disease knowledge and information to treat patients in their communities. These grants support a key component of GLA’s mission to educate healthcare providers about Lyme and tick-borne diseases. GLA’s professional education program includes a CME-accredited course. GLA also offers Lyme and TBD education to schools, summer camps, and the general public through materials and its Lyme Education Ambassador Program (LEAP). For more information please contact the GLA education team at education@GLA.org.
