The program featured GLA Ambassador Christopher Meloni as a special speaker and honored Dr. Denis Bouboulis, a leading physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of autoimmune disorders and immune deficiencies, including Lyme disease, PANDAS, asthma, and other tick-borne infections. Dr. Bouboulis was recognized for his extraordinary dedication to patient care, his advocacy for those living with complex chronic illnesses, and his tireless efforts to advance understanding and treatment in the field. The stunning atmosphere of the evening was brought to life by the creative vision and design of Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events

Guests, including Fern Mallis, founder of New York Fashion Week, and Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs, stars of Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, enjoyed an inspiring evening program. Erich and his Broadway friends, Charity Angel Dawson, Michael Orland, Adam Pascal and Earle Rose delivered dynamic, heartfelt performances that captivated the audience. Singer Carolina Rial shared her family’s struggle with Lyme and gave a powerful rendition of “Don’t Rain on my Parade”.

Throughout the evening, patients shared their personal stories of resilience, shedding light on the challenges of living with Lyme. Their testimonials underscored Global Lyme Alliance’s patient-focused mission and the organization’s vital role in providing hope and support to the Lyme community.

The evening’s live auction energized the crowd with exclusive travel and entertainment experiences, VIP meet-and-greets, and one-of-a-kind packages. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the event raised $1.2 million to support GLA’s mission and expand critical research and programs for patients and families affected by Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.

Our heartfelt thanks to GLA’s Board of Directors, and especially to GLA Executive Committee members Nancy Del Genio, Brett Kristoff, and Rose Anastasio, whose vision and generosity continue to propel this event in extraordinary ways.

Awareness and funding for Lyme disease remain vital, with a record number of cases reported nationwide. According to the CDC, there are more than 500,000 new cases of Lyme disease each year in the United States. To date, Global Lyme Alliance has invested more than $25 million in research, helping to generate over 190 scientific publications and supporting patients through life-saving programs such as Find a Lyme Specialist, which has connected more than 43,000 people to knowledgeable medical professionals.
